The EAACN has successfully implemented the first Study visit within the Eurasian Academic Anti-corruption Network! The first pilot visit took place in Moldova and lasted for one studying week. This time, we delegated the 6 best students from Ukraine, Armenia, Moldova and the Kyrgyz Republic to participate in the program.

During the week, students had an opportunity to take part in a series of training and events on anti-corruption and good governance, such as:

  • Budget transparency, a prerequisite for preventing corruption in the public sector by Tatiana Savva;
  • Good governance and anti-corruption policies in state companies by Stas Madan;
  • Anti-corruption policies in the financial system. Money laundering by Dumitru Pîntea;
  • Anti-corruption in the judicial system – a study visit, together with Victoria Sanduta;
  • Mechanisms of Integrity and Protection against Whistleblowers – study visit at CAPC, together with Lilia Ionita;
  • Study visit to the National Anti-Corruption Center.

Thanks to Expert-Grup – an independent think-tank and our partner & representative of the Network in Moldova for hosting the first Study visit and making it possible this year!
