This year was challenging, but together with Transparency International Armenia, CA Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering, Expert-Grup, and Institute for Development of Freedom of Information, we developed the Network of like-minded people striving for anti-corruption education in the post-Soviet region!
- With the support of our hubs and their national universities, in 2021, we expanded educational programs on anti-corruption in all countries of our Network, including Ukraine, Moldova, Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, and Georgia.
- We implemented the first Joint Online Convocation for graduates of Anti-Corruption Programs with the participation of professor Matthew Stephenson from Harvard University.
- We successfully launched the official website of our Network (www.eaacn.org).
- We created the unique series of podcasts “UNCHAINED: Success stories on fighting corruption in Eastern Europe and Eurasia” and shared the first episode on “What is corruption in the modern world?” (www.eaacn.org/podcasts).
- We initiated the series of Student exchange programs for the students of anti-corruption programs in the region and organized the first Study visit to Moldova 2022.
- We continued organizing everyday public events and panel discussions. At the same time, our experts, including Max Bader, Oksana Huss, Oleksandra Keudel, Alina Los and others, kept the tradition of holding lectures for the hubs beyond their own countries and shared expertise on the international level.
The most important is that all of us have remained united to make a difference and spread anti-corruption education and research in the region! With 2021 coming to a close, on behalf of the Eurasian Academic Anti-Сorruption Network, we want to send best wishes to you and yours. We hope that 2022 holds success and good fortune in any endeavour you pursue! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
