The EAACN informs you that the Bakala Foundation initiated a new Bootcamp called “Journey: Journalism Bootcamp”. Journalism Bootcamp is a lifetime of professional journalism training at the highest level, packed into a 10-day experience.

If you decide to take part, see what you get:

  • A one-of-a-kind program where students learn by doing.
  • Interactive seminars and workshops conducted by professional journalists, editors, and media experts from the world’s most renowned news outlets;
  • Individual coaching and editing during hands-on exercisesAccess to the latest tools to fight fake news in Eastern and Central Europe;

Who is it for?

  • Journalism or media studies students who have finished at least two semesters of university education (or studies at higher/ vocational schools of journalism) and who show strong interest in a career in reporting and news production;
  • Students of related study programs who have shown deep interest in journalism and have work experience in journalism;
  • Applicants from the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Republic of South Africa, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, United Kingdom, Ukraine, and USA.
