Central Asian Research Institute on Corruption and Money Laundering has finished the two series of anti-corruption capacity building trainings for civil society representatives and activists. Training participants examined the essence and types of corruption, anti-corruption mechanisms, learned the tools of fact-checking and public monitoring of public procurement, discussed the impact of corruption on quality of life, environment and gender. The participants discussed corruption prevention mechanisms and the role of civil society at local and national levels. At the end of the trainings, a round table was held to discuss the idea ofof setting up a Network on Prevention of Corruption in the Kyrgyz Republic. The memorandum was presented and given for editing.
